While you may have consulted with personal trainers for your fitness goals, a therapist when you were coping with life’s challenges, or doctors for your health condition(s), not many people have consulted with a dietitian or nutritionist in regard to their health goals.
Before we get started, I like to do an intro session to better understand your concerns and health goals. This 45 minute session is my opportunity to get to know you and your opportunity to learn about me.
At the end of this session you will learn more about my packages and pricing, be able to assess if the process is how you want to proceed, and if I am the right person to help you.
You can expect to learn:
- The length of time anticipated to accomplish your health goals
- The number of appointments you will need to commit to
- The proposed strategy to help you meet your health goals
Once we have decided to work together, you will be asked to fill out a detailed medical history which we will go over in your initial 90-minute appointment. During this appointment we will search for underlying causes contributing to your health conditions and make appropriate recommendations for lab work, other tests as needed, dietary changes, herbs and / or supplements, and lifestyle changes.
At the end of your individualized program you will have the option to continue to work with me on a maintenance program. This is a way for you to check in with me on any on-going work you are doing to maintain your health goals or labs.
I do not typically work with children or adults diagnosed with an eating disorder.
