Morning Sunrise Smoothie

Looking for a great way to start your day? Try this frothy, delicious smoothie.

It’s packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, curcumin, terpenes, and fiber!

So what’s in this smoothie?

The vibrant orange color should give it away. But even if you can’t guess, I’m going to tell you.

I mixed up some of my favorite summer fruits including Valencia orange, succulent summer peach (sweet like only summer can make them), coconut water (for extra hydration), a 1″ nub go ginger, and a 1″ nub of turmeric.

This smoothie almost made itself!

I placed all the ingredients in my Vitamix and gave it a good whirl! That’s how simple this is. It doesn’t take a lot to eat (or drink) real, whole foods that are so good for you.

They’re not just good for you, they are essential for good health!

This smoothie is a great way to wake up in the morning because it has just the right amount of sweet from the juicy orange and peach, but it is also spicy from the ginger and turmeric. I just love the particular blend of flavors in this smoothie.

It’s a nutrition powerhouse!

As I mentioned some of it’s ingredients above, it’s these things that make this smoothie so healthful. Even though it has fruits as it’s base, the fiber it contains balances the natural sugars. The ginger and turmeric pack the nutritional punch with their immune-boosting properties. And the coconut water will keep you hydrated longer.

What does all this mean for you?

It means healthy, glowing skin, a strong immune system, food for your commensal bacteria, glucose for your brain and muscles, good food for a good mood, and a properly functioning digestive system. Who could ask for anything more?
